Curtis H. Staker – Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
Curtis Staker is President and Chief Executive Officer at Confident Technologies, Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in the high technology sector with 17 years leadership roles at high profile public companies, including serving in the roles of Executive Vice President and President at Websense from February 2001 through September 2005. During this time period, Websense sales increased from $30M to almost $200M, market cap expanded from $200M to $1.4B and cash increased from $81M to $244M. Additional experience and successes include positions as Chairman and CEO at GFI Software and Vice President/General Manager (Asia/Pacific for three years and Americas for two years) at SDRC (now owned by Siemens). Staker has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University.
Douglas A. Siedenburg – Director
Douglas Siedenburg is President of The Siedenburg Group, a commercial real estate consulting, development, and brokerage firm located in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Siedenburg entered the real estate business in 1976 and managed Iowa’s largest commercial real estate brokerage company, Iowa Realty, for nine years from 1985 until 1994. In 1995, Mr. Siedenburg became Executive Vice President of the MidAmerica Group, a regional real estate development corporation. The Siedenburg Group was founded in 1998. The firm offers consulting real estate services, including strategic planning, development consulting and site selection. Mr. Siedenburg is a member of The Counselors of Real Estate and the Certified Commercial Investment Members. Mr. Siedenburg is actively involved in community and philanthropic activities in the greater Des Moines area. Mr. Siedenburg has a Bachelor’s degree in Personnel Management from Drake University.
Graham A. Wilson – Director
Graham A. Wilson, a Certified Public Accountant, provides consulting services as a part-time Chief Financial Officer to a variety of companies. Through his consulting practice, his engagements have focused on turning around troubled companies, managing start-ups, oversight of plant operations, arranging financing (institutional and private), forecasting, financial and tax reporting, strategic and organizational planning, risk analysis and implementing cost and internal controls.
In addition to his private consulting practice, Mr. Wilson is a partner and Manager of a manufacturing company providing drilling and cementing products to the oil and gas service industry. In the past, Mr. Wilson was responsible for the start-up of a medical products distribution company, which grew into one of the leading dental bur brands in the United States. He has served as the Vice President of Finance and Administration of a publicly held business that manufactures high-tech consumer electronic products, and as Vice President of Finance for a privately held company that designs and fabricates co-generation and waste-to-energy conversion equipment. Mr. Wilson began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co., one of the largest accounting firms in the world, as an audit manager. Mr. Wilson obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Illinois State University.
David R. Lee - Advisor, Chief Legal Counsel and Secretary
David R. Lee is an attorney and partner in the Corporate practice group of the law firm Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton, LLP. Mr. Lee has extensive experience in the representation of technology and emerging growth companies. His practice encompasses the formation, financing, corporate governance, intellectual property counseling and transactional fields. He has handled complex mergers and acquisitions, licensing and distribution arrangements, venture capital financings and strategic partnerships for a wide variety of public and private companies. Mr. Lee has worked on the initial public offerings for many well-known companies including Qualcomm, Wind River Systems and Documentum. He was the lead attorney representing Palm Computing in their merger with U.S. Robotics, and continued work with the Palm Division following the merger and subsequent acquisition of U.S. Robotics by 3Com. Mr. Lee obtained his Artium Baccalaureatus degree from University of California, Berkely; graduating with highest honors. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University.
